Disposing of blood, hair, nails, skin

Answered as per Shafi'i Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Ustadha Shazia Ahmad

What is the proper way to dispose of hair (eg. from hairbrush or shaving beard/armpits), nails, skin (when removing dry skin off feet) and blood (e.g from a wound or menstruation)? (I see a lot of hanafi answers, but no shafii views)
I’m not sure what to bury or whether I can throw it in the garbage or even burn it.

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

It is recommended that any part separated from a living human being be buried, such as hair and nail clippings.

However, blood from menstruation may be thrown in the trash. The former is mentioned in the Reliance of the Traveler (j9.8).

And Allah alone gives success.
