Marriage After such relationship which is not jayaz in islam ?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

I m a Guy & I M Depressed Because Of One Of My Problem..My Problem Is That I Have Some Realtionships With a girl Which Is Not Jayaz In Islam. I Love her & Cannot Even Think To Live Without Her. I Knew That It’s Gunah. After Having Such Realtionships I Have Heard That If a Guy & A Girl Have Such Realtionships & And After Their Relationships They Are Married Then Their Marriage Is Not Jayaz In Islam And Their Children After their Marriage Would Be Called Haram..Is This True? After hearing This We Are Feeling Guilty Of Our Such Realtionships. We Decided To Do Tauba. We Can’t Liev With Out Each Other & We Want To Marry Each Other..Tell Me That What Should We Do.. Before having Such Realtionship We Don’t Know About This That Our Childrem Will called Haram .We Are Innocent & Now We Are Very Dpreresed That What Have We Done? And I Want To Marry Her So Tell Me The Solution That What Should We do??thnx

Answer

Jazakallah for writing to the institute. You say that you have a girlfriend. Having a girlfriend is not acceptable in Islam. Please approach your parents as soon as possible and ask them to arrange a marriage if, as you say, you cannot do without her.

Tell your parents that you are at risk of committing zina and they have to help protect you from that. This is far better for you than to go on meeting her and indulging in haraam. Whatever children you have after nikah will be legitimate. However, do remember that if you fall into shaitaans trap now before marriage, and you then have a child, teh child wil be illegitimate for you will be committing zina and this is a kabirah gunnah.

I urge you to make nikah as soon as possible with the permission of parents on both sides. May Allah Ta’ala guide both of you and protect you from haraam and His wrath, ameen.

and Allah Ta’ala Knows Best
