Presently I’m working in Saudi Arabia, My wife also stay with me. Due to some emergency situation my wife need to go back to Home (India). I can’t get any leave from the company due to work pressure. Can she travel without me ? (without muhram), what should I do in this situation ?
Answer:
It is compulsory for a woman to be accompanied by a Mahram on a journey
distancing 88 kms. or more. If you (the husband) can not accompany her, then
she may travel with her father, son, brother, nephew, etc. (Shaami vol.6
pg.390; HM Saeed).
