Q: I have given two divorces to my wife due to some reason. The first was given a week ago then we did Rujoo (got back together) on the same day. Then the second was given after a week for which we also did Rujoo on the same day. What is the Kaffarah (compensation) for issuing two divorces?
A. There is no Kaffaarah for after issuing a divorce. Repent unto Allah Ta’aala for this callous act. Remember that now you are the owner of only one divorce. If you issue a divorce for the third time, you will not be able to make Rujoo’ and she will become Haraam upon you.
