Alcohol Food Flavoring

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by SunniPath Answer Service Team

We found out that most natural flavourings in foods (such as ice cream) use alcohol to bring out the flavour. Is it okay to eat the foods that have natural flavouring, or should we just stay away from anything that has natural flavouring in it? Also, does it matter if the food item is baked (i.e. the alcohol in the flavouring evaporates)?
