Q: Can we make jamaat of nafl salat in tajjud during last ten days of Ramadhan according to hanafi fiqh or do we have to pray individually?
A: It is MAKROOH according to the Hanafi madhhab to pray nafl salah in congregation if there four or more followers behind the Imam. There is no difference in it being the month of Ramadan or any other month of the year. Some scholars have given permissibility to it; however this is not the view of the Hanafi adhhab. We base our verdict upon the Hanafi madhhab.
