My wife(42 y)’s stomach has been abnormally increased and has some abnormal symptoms that are difiicult to explain scientifically like feeling most of the times sharp knives scratching inside her stomach(with pain) and appearing sharp scratches marks on her either arms in no time which slowly disappear in few days and to feel panetration of needles in arms. All medical reports are normal. Some Aamils say that there is an effect of black magic/Napaak Ilm whatsoever is called, upon her since long time which turned to a serious stage now . An Aamil from Saharanpur has treated her for two and a half months but the problem inversibly increased even all wazifaas/tasbeeh were performed as directed. Some of my relatives then advised that this type of magic can only be removed by a non muslim aamil locally called as ‘Siyana’. Then we approch a ‘Siyana’ but noticed no relief. My questions are- 1.Is it lawfull in Islaam to believe and/or approach to non muslims for such type of treatment. If no, pl advise us what to do for forgiveness of the same. 2.Advise us where should we go for her treatment.
Answer:
(Fatwa: 1934/1480=H)
(1) It was not allowed. Now, you should repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness.
(2) There is a Dua named Hirz-e-Abi Dujanah in Bahishti Zewar, get it written by saffron or ink, give it the patient to wear it around her neck and ask her to recite Surah Falaq and Surah Naas (قل أعوذ برب الفلق، قل أعوذ برب الناس) with durood three times before and after, blow it on her hands and pass them on her body after every obligatory salah and while going to bed.
