Is it allowed to sing a song in the following cases and following purposes

1. Naat or Hamd, without music.
2. If its a song for country e.g. Taraana, Naghma, but without Music.
3. If the song is sung, without music, for wife or husband or child.

Answer

It is permissible to listen to a Hamd (praises of Nabi ) or a Naat which has no music. It is also permissible to listen to an anthem, which is Islamic and has no music in the back ground. It is not permissible to sing un Islamic songs for the wife and children even though the don’t have music.
