Pus in sinus

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Fatwaa.com

Assalam Alyaikum Ya Rokhmatullakhi Ya barokyatukh! I am ill. I have pus in sinus because of implant. Usually I don’t feel it. But When I rinse my nose in the wudu, I feel pus. I need a lot of time until this feeling passes away. Before I think I‘m mazoor. I read salat with pus according to the rules of mazoor. I don‘t know what to do in such situation if I don‘t rinse I think pus can be more than dirham in nose and nasopharynx. But I can‘t know this.
1. should I read as mazoor or not? Because when I don‘t rinse I don‘t feel any pus?
2. should I don‘t rinse and read with this pus in sinus which I don‘t feel?

Answer

Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahamatullahi wa barakatuhu,

As long as the pus is still in the nose, the Wudhu does not break.

It is better that you do not rinse your nose in Wudhu, and your Wudhu will not be nullified with the pus that you do not feel, and does not come out.

Based on the information you provided, you will not be a Ma’zoor.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best
