I recently performed my Umrah and one night I visited a shopping mall in Mecca. I came across a magic shop selling little magic tricks. I was amused and bought a few. When i got home i performed these tricks for relatives. I would like 2 know if this is haraam? After all i was not doing “magic” but “magic tricks” for entertainment purposes.
Answer:
It is not permissible to play with the toy performing magic tricks and to entertain people with such a toy.
