Can you provide the reference for this narration?

العشق مرض ليس فيه أجر ولا عوض

Love is a disease that has neither a reward nor compensation for it- ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (radiyallahu ‘anhu)

 

Answer

I have not come across the narration in any reliable primary source nor any secondary source.

This has been cited as the statement of Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) in certain Shi’i sources.
