Assalamualykum. Please can you explain the rulings on being a musafir (traveller) I work away from home in a town which is about 130 miles away. I leave for work on Monday morning and stay at a rented property in that town till Friday when I return home for the Weekend, and I do this every week. My wife and child do not travel with me. In this situation can I be considered as a musafir (traveller) whilst Im staying in my work town?

Answer

You will be a Musaafir while you stay for lesser than 15 days in your work town.
