Raising the hands and making dua while waiting for salaah

Q: Can a person, after dua of azaan while waiting for salaah, raise his hands and make dua? Is it permissible?

Bismillaah

A: Yes. Let it not be so close to the azaan that people confuse it with raising the hands for the dua after azaan.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
