Do the Angels visit the grave of one who learns and teaches the Quran?

Is the following narration suitable to quote?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) told Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu), “O Abu Hurayrah! Teach the Quran to people and learn it. If you pass away in this state the Angels will visit your grave just as the Ka’bah is visited”

Answer

The Muhaddithun have declared this narration a fabrication. The Hadith is therefore not suitable to quote.

(Tanzihush Shari’ah, vol. 1 pg. 268/269)

There are many authentic narrations which encourage learning and teaching the Holy Quran. These should be quoted instead.

Sayyiduna ‘Uthman (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“The best of you is the one who learns the Quran and teaches it”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 5027)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
