In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful

The answer to your question is as follows:

Allah appoints two angels to serve as “Kiraman Katibin” (honorable recorders) for each person in the world. Quran says: and appointed over you are watchers, who are noble writers of the deeds, who know whatever you do. (Quran: 82/10).

Hazrat Ibne Juraij said: Kraman Katibeen are two angels who record people’s actions. The one on the right side writes down the good deeds and another one on the left side writes down the bad deeds of a person during his lifetime.

Munkar & Nakeer are two other angels who are sent in the grave to test the faith of the dead persons.
