Authenticity of a du’a recited at iftar

Can you confirm the source and authenticity of this du’a which Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would recite at iftar?

(Dhahabadh dhamau, wabtallatil ‘uruqu wa thabatal ajru inshallah)

Answer

Imam Abu Dawud (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration. Imam Daraqutni (rahimahullah) has declared the chain sound (hasan).

(Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 2349, Sunan Daraqutni, Hadith: 2279. Also see: At Talkhisul Habir, vol. 3 pg. 1446)
