A du’a asking Allah for sincerity in fasting

Is this du’a found in a Hadith?

Answer

I have not come across this du’a in any Hadith source.

However, since the meaning of this du’a is correct, you may recite the du’a without deeming it a du’a of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

Translation

O Allah! On this day, make my fast the fast of those who fast [sincerely/perfectly] and my standing in [Salah] the standing of those who offer Salah [sincerely/obediently], awaken me on this day from slumber of the unmindful and forgive me O the One who forgives the sinners.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
