Can We Name Our Baby Hawwa Aysha Henza?

Answered as per Shafi'i Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org

Question

Can We Name Our Baby Hawwa Aysha Henza?

Answer

Yes, it is permissible to name your daughter Hawwa, as she was the first woman ever created. Aysha is plainly the name of the Prophet’s wife, so that would be praiseworthy. Henza seems to be of Swahili origin, and means ‘love’; it is fine to use that too.

The Prophet, may Allah bless him and give him peace, said, “On the Day of Resurrection you will be called by your names and by your father’s names, so give yourselves good names.” [Abu Dawud]

May Allah bless you with a righteous and pious daughter.
