Praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds.Singing unaccompanied with music is mere chanting of words. Be the words good, then it is good. Be they prohibited, then it is prohibited. As for playing music or chanting along with it, it is a matter of disagreement amongst scholars. And Allah the Almighty knows best.
