What is the ruling of Sharia on trading in what is called the "Bio Disc"? Is trading in it lawful or not? It is worth mentioning that a person trading in this "Bio Disc" gets a certain percentage against every customer and the more customers he sells this product to, the more profit he makes. This percentage could even reach (15000JDs) per month. As I have heard, this "Bio Disc" generates natural power and transforms negative energy emanating from sets, such as mobile phones, computers and the like, into positive energy.

In order to answer your question about the so called "Bio Disc", We (Iftaa` Department) have to take two aspects into consideration:
First: The credibility of this device and the practicality of the concept upon which it is based. Has the alleged benefits of this device been confirmed through experimental scientific research? If the answer is yes, then where are the positive and tangible results?!
All these are valid inquiries that We aren`t at liberty to answer save after verifying and questioning, but unfortunately we haven`t had the chance to do so.
Second: Marketing this device via (Quest company), which is a pyramid marketing company, is clouded by suspicion and distrust since We have issued Fatwa No. (644) which prohibits this method of marketing for it involves risk and eating up people`s money unjustly under the disguise of the merchandise the company sells.
We don`t permit engaging in pyramid marketing, even if it begins with purchasing an actual product because the price of the latter is mostly high and covers the act of gambling upon which the business of such companies rests. And Allah the Almighty knows best.
