Making Wudhu with a glued nail

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by TheMufti.com

Q. Someone has a very badly broken nail…so they used a gel to fix it up, similar to glue. However no water will go thru but it was for fixing up, wudhu and salah valid?

A. In the enquired case, if your broken nail is fixed/attached to your finger/toe with glue and it is difficult to detach/remove it, your broken nail will be considered part of your body. In such a state, your Wudhu and Salaah performed will be valid. (Fataawa Haqqaniyyah 2/522)
