I have a really bad habit of smoking. I just want it made clear if its haram and why it is. Or is it because of the money wasted? I have heard its makhrooh but I’m not too sure and how do I avoid smoking?
The earlier Muftees used to say it is makrooh. However nowadays, many are of the opinion that it’s haram. Of course there is wastage of money in there but also the damage to the body which has been put under our trust and we have to take care of it.
