Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Tafseer Raheemi

Asalamualykum warahmatulahi wabarakato ho my name is shehroze and I have a question is when ever I’m on a device and no one is here I get bad thoughts in my mind to go on bad websites and commit sins with my hands and go on bad websites. How do I prevent that and bad thoughts regularly in my mind.

One shaykh was asked “How can I control my eyes?” He replied “Before you look, pause for a moment and think that Allah has been looking at you even before you started looking here”

Adopt a life of taqwa. Perform daily Salah with punctuality. Stay in touch with your shaykh. Do dhikr according to his instructions. Always remember that death does have a fix time, but we don’t know when that critical moment will come. What if the angel of death came to extract your soul while you are busy sinning? How ashamed would you feel if you were presented to Allah in that state.

Supplicate to Allah and beg Him for His help in controlling your ego. If Allah is on your side you can overcome anything, but if you make Him angry and He goes against you, then no one can rescue you.

May Allah have mercy upon all of us and help us in all matters and be pleased with us. Ameen Wassalam
