Are makrooh acts sinful? and other questions

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org
Is a ‘makrooh’ act sinful? 2. Why is seafood allowed in the shafii mazhab where in hanafi mazhab it is near haram makrooh tahreemi. Can you give other examples of makrooh tahreemi acts? 3. How should one recite Ayat-e -Kareema for zikr purposes Sawa lakh times? 4. What are examples of gunah-e-sagheerah? (U.S.A)
The term ‘makrooh’ is of two different kinds, one is called ‘tanzeehi’ and the other is called ‘tahreemi’. During the period of the companions of the prophet while they were traveling they did not eat any thing but fish, therefore, the scholars from hanafi school of thought think that only fish can be eaten. Also, the prophet peace be upon him said that only two dead things are permissible for us and one of them was fish. The animals of the sea are not slaughtered and they are killed before eaten. Their blood is not like the blood of other animals and whatever that looks like blood in them is not their blood therefore, anything outside of the fish category is not allowed to eat but fish. However, imam shafai made a different stipulation in his school of thought because of which his opinion defers from that of ours, such that he allows some other sea animals to be consumed that are not of the fish category.

All those things, which are termed as ‘makrooh’ without the specification of ‘tanzeehi’, are ‘tahreemi’, right now I cannot think of any examples. The verse has the meaning of seeking forgiveness, who ever does that excessively will benefit immensely from that. There is also a promise of salvation based on that. There is no particular method of doing it, slowly and gradually a person should try to complete the process because 125,000 times is not easy to do in one sitting. You can divide the time in day and night and do some during the day while some during the night. Seeing a man for a woman or a woman for a man or touching without an intention are examples of minor sins if done by accident and not out of habit.
