The feeling of rejuvenation after wudhu

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org

Please explain this feeling you have after making wudhu or after reading salah? It seems like your are fresh, calm, and actually a good person. But as soon as you get back to daily tasks the feeling fades. What does this mean?

If we understood your question right than the answer is that by doing good deeds you will feel a kind of happiness in yourself by the grace of Allah. There is a special result of worship given by Allah that when a person is busy in his daily activities and life he tends to distance himself from Allah and the worship brings him closer to him. In distancing oneself from Allah a person finds some kind of vacuum in his heart, which is removed when the person worships. A person should also be mindful of Allah in all activities throughout the day.
