Referring to the Question #1072 dated July 20, 2004. I will appreciate if you tell us how far this Hadith is correct. Abu-Dawud Book 11, Number 2164: Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas: If a man has sexual intercourse (with menstruating woman) during her bleeding, he should give one dinar as sadaqah, and if he does so when bleeding has stopped, he should give half a dinar as sadaqah.
Yes, this saying of the messenger of Allah is correct. The meaning of the saying is that in this condition it is not permitted to have sex with one’s wife; and whoever does such an action will be a sinner. In expiation of this sin, he should give some sadaqah, and he should do taubah (repent).
