Is it permissible for husband and wife to look at their private parts?

Even though it is permissible from the law point of view but it is not desirable. The prophet peace be upon him have said to his companions that if it’s possible try not to look at each others’ body as much is possible. It is reported that he never did this nor did his wives. If somebody does it there is no sin.
