I held all ulema is very high esteem until I realized how much more important it is to do your islah with a Kamil Shaykh such as yourself. Ilm is great but I have seen too many times where it doesn’t seem like it’s enough. Simple sunnah, clothing not properly above ankles, and many other things are just left behind. My question is why more ulema do not involve themselves with Tasawwuf in the Chicago area?

I held all ulema is very high esteem until I realized how much more important it is to do your islah with a Kamil Shaykh such as yourself. Ilm is great but I have seen too many times where it doesn’t seem like it’s enough. Simple sunnah, clothing not properly above ankles, and many other things are just left behind. My question is why more ulema do not involve themselves with Tasawwuf in the Chicago area? They also seem to have an increased distance from the Tabligh Movement. The reason I ask is if we had more ulema like yourself, it would really help many people like me to actually leave sin and be a little more human like. (U.S.A)
