Can a woman cut her hair for the sake of her husband?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org
Can a woman cut her hair for the sake of her husband? Although she wears burqa ( hijab) when she goes out. I heard that Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) sent Laanat to those men who try to look like women and those women who try to look like men. But if a woman cuts her hair up to that extent through which she does not look like a man. Is this allowed in Islam or not?
There are two reasons why it’s forbidden for women to cut their hair. One is because it mimics the men hair and second is because it’s impermissible. If the corners of the hair are imbalanced then she can just trim that area. Hijab is with niqab, one has to cover the face except the eyes.
