What is Tasawwuf? Please explain all the details.
There are two parts to the Shariah, one is the exoteric which consist of prayer, fasting, purity, ablution, shower, and hajj etc. the other part is more esoteric and related to the issues of heart like whim, desire etc. there are things that are mandatory and forbidden in this category as well. This is called “Tasawwuf” or “fiqh of batin”.
