What is the Naqshbandi and Nawawi schools of thought, and what are the differences?
Naqshabandi is just one of the four methodologies to self purify or discipline the inner dimensions of one’s self. The school of thought was named after its founder.

Nawawi is a name of place and a great scholar from that place is also well known. He authored a great commentary on muslim and also a book by the name of riyadus saliheen. It’s likely that you saw something related to this somewhere.
