Placing ads on the Musjid wall

Q: Is it permissible to place advertisements on the outside wall of a musjid, house for sale etc?

A: It is not in keeping with respect and the reverence of the musjid that these types of advertisements be placed on the wall of the musjid.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّـهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ ﴿الحج: ٣٢﴾
