Hanafi and Maliki fiqh of doing sajda

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org
Please tell us if feets get lifted – both of them during doing the sajda – would prayer be valid – please inform us from Hanafi and Maliki fiqh
If both feet are lifted a little bit while in the prostration then according to both school of thought the prayer will be accepted. But if someone has his feet lifted for a longer time then his prayer will not be accepted according to hanafi fiqh. But let us say if someone had the feet on the ground while going and coming from the prostration and only for a little while in the middle the person didn’t keep them on the ground then his sajda would be valid.
