A question about the time for Fajar prayer. It is not clear which to follow, but both are based on the same method.

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org

As salaam alaekum.

My question is regarding the salah time for fajar.  The time provided in your time table is 30minutes earlier than the fajar time given in MEC time table.  I’m little confused which time to follow. especially when to stop eating my sahoor?  should I follow your time table for fajar or MEC time table for fajar?
Which method do both of the time table use to calculate fajar?  Did any of the scholars went out and actually saw appearance of white line to start fajar? I heard a hadith that there are two fajar?  And one can eat sahoor till the second fajar?

Jazakh Allah

You should practice utmost and special care in following the correct timings for salah and fasting. The time for suhoor is until the starting of the time for fajr salah i.e.subh as-sadiq.
