Was my Fajr valid?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org

Assalamualaikum,

I have two questions:

  1. Will my prayer be valid if the sun rises while I am praying fajr?
  2. It is narrated in a hadeeth more or less of Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah likes the act of sneezing and dislikes the act of yawning, so if any one of you sneezes and praises Allaah (says “al-hamdu Lillaah”), it is a duty on every Muslim who hears him to say to him, “Yarhamuk Allaah (may Allaah have mercy on you).” As for yawning, it is from the Shaytaan, so if any of you feels the urge to yawn, he should suppress it as much as he can, for when any one of you yawns, the Shaytaan laughs at him.”

This is a weird question but I’m curious to know that since Allah likes the act of sneezing and we should praise him for it, does it mean anything in Islamic terms if you get a sneezing sensation but don’t sneeze

While praying Fajr Salat if the sun rises before making the Salam then that Salat will become null and void, later on it must be repeated.

If the sneeze stops coming then the command to say Alhamdulillah after sneezing will not be applicable.
