Assalamualaikum
If the person did intercourse with his wife during period what is the kaffarah.
If the period is completed but she didn’t take shower (Pak nahi hoi) can the person do intercourse and then she take shower.
Please advise.
الجواب وباللہ التوفیق
- No Kaffaarah is Wajib for establishing marital relationship with the wife during her menstrual period, however, one should make repentance and ask forgiveness and must avoid it absolutely in the future. If possible one should give one Dinaar or half Dinaar in Sadaqah.
- If the menstrual bleeding stops after full ten days then it is permissible to have marital relationship without her taking the shower.
- If the bleeding stopped in less than ten days then if it stopped after completion of habitual number of days then it is not permissible to have marital relationship with her until she takes shower or the time of one Salaat passes after bleeding stops. However, it is permissible to have marital relationship when either she takes shower or the time of one Salaat passes while she has not taken shower yet.
