Tarawih at Home?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

Would it be Makruh Tahriman for men to pray their tarawih at home? What if they are very tired after work?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

For men, it is recommended (mustahabb) to pray tarawih in congregation. [Durr]

As such, praying it alone is not sinful, unlike making it a habit to leave a confirmed sunna (such as the 20 rakats of tarawih), which is sinful.
