Dua’ Between Prostrations

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Abdurrahman ibn Yusuf Mangera

According to the Hanafi madhab, what can be read between prostrations?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu alaykum

In the name of Allah, the Inspirer of truth,

The following du’as are recommended (mustahab) to be recited while sitting between the two prostrations:

اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ وَارْحَمْنِيْ وَعَافِنِيْ وَاهْدِنِيْ وَارْزُقْنِيْ وَاجْبُرْنِيْ وَارْفَعْنِي

O Allah Forgive me. Have mercy on me, grant me well being , guide me, grant me subsistence, repair my losses, and grant me a high position. (al-Hisn al-Hasin 107)

Reciting this du’a will also help in becoming reposed (tumanina) at this time which is wajib.

Wassalam,

Abdurrahman ibn Yusuf
