Walaikum assalam,

There is nothing wrong with undressing, sleeping, or intercourse in a room where there is a copy of the Qur’an or verses of the Qur’an on the wall.

However, it is best to put away the Qur’an and to cover up the hanging verses, if possible without undue hardship.

Imam Haskafi said in his Durr al-Mukhtar,

“There is nothing wrong with intercourse in a room in which there is a copy of the Qur’an, because it is generally difficult to avoid (li’l balwa).”

Imam Muhammad Amin Ibn Abidin confirmed this Radd al-Muhtar and related from Imam Tahtawi that it is superior to cover up the Qur’an.

And Allah alone gives success.
