Re: Al-Safa & Crescent products

Safa and Crescent: In this concern I’d like to mention some facts that yes both Brands have halal on their Products but at the same time they are different because Al-Safa Company is run by Jewish owner and Crescent belongs to a Muslim owner.

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Wa alaikum salaam wa rahmatullah,

Merely the company having a Jewish owner does not render the products unlawful or doubtful. As mentioned previously, their slaughter methods have been repeatedly monitored by local scholars and found to be in line with Shariah dictates. Therefore, the products are permissible to consume.

And Allah knows best.
