Hadrat Isa (peace be upon him) in Islam

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

There has been a lot of media interest in the book the “Da Vinci Code” recently which alleges that Hadrat Isa (PBUH) was married to Mary Magdalene and fathered a child by her. What is the Islamic position on the life of Christ – whilst we obviously deny his divinity, is there a possibility that such theories could be correct?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Wa Alaykum Assalam wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuhu,

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful & Compassionate

Please see the following links for the Prophet Isa (Jesus) – upon him be peace – in Islam. May Allah reward Shaykh Gibril Haddad for his work on the issue, ameen.
