Can Muslim women achieve independence and financial autonomy under Shariah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com
According to shariah, can a muslim woman become liberated from her father or husband, become independant and make her own living?

Answer
Bismillah

Al-jawab billahi at-taufeeq (the answer with Allah’s guidance)

She should not liberate herself as this is totally incorrect. However, she can earn her living in a decent respectful way from within the confines of her home provided these do not interfere the rights of her husband or father.

And Only Allah Ta’ala Knows Best.
