Answer
Bismillah

Al-jawab billahi at-taufeeq (the answer with Allah’s guidance)

The call to commence (Iqamah), like the call to prayer (Adhan) is a very strongly emphasized Sunnah (Sunnate Mu’akkadah) for congregational prayers and Jumu’ah prayer. (Nurul Idhah Pg. 58)

Therefore, to omit the Iqamah will be Makruh but Salah will be valid.

And Only Allah Ta’ala Knows Best.
