Women using perfume and leaving the home

Q: I have heard a hadith which states that if a woman uses perfume and goes outside then her prayer is not accepted until she performs ghusal. Is this true?

Bismillaah

A: It is a serious wrong for her to wear perfume and go out. If she performs namaaz in any public area in this manner then obviously she is not going to get any reward for this.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
