Eating while one’s mouth is bleeding due to a sore

Q:

1. If I have a sore in my mouth which is bleeding and I eat with my hands, do my hands become napaak?

2. Also, if I lick my lips while my mouth is bleeding, do my lips become napaak?

3. Can I swallow the blood as it’s in my mouth all the time and I can’t keep spitting?

Bismillaah

A:

1. The hands will not be napaak.

2. No, if there is no visible trace of blood on your lips.

3. Try your best to spit out the blood.
