Imaam making niyyat for leading women in Salaah

Q: If a woman follows one random man in namaz, is the namaz valid (he is not her mahram)? What if there is one imam and one woman behind him and none of them are related, is her namaz valid?

Bismillaah

A: If the imaam makes niyyat for leading her in salaah, her salaah performed behind him will be valid.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
