Performing Salaah behind an imaam who is involved in a haraam relationship

Q: A married person who is secretly in contact with another unmarried woman but he is an Imam of a masjid also, Salaah performed behind him is valid or not?

Bismillaah

A: The namaaz is valid. Such an imaam must be replaced.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
