Leaving out the sunnah salaah and performing qadha Salaah on safar

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: If I visit a place e.g. my grandparents which is at a distance greater than the safr distance from my home town for less than 15 days, is it permissible for me to leave out the sunnat salaah, despite having time to perform it, and perform my qadha salaah instead?

Bismillaah

A: Yes. However the the two Sunnah of fajr should not be left out.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
