Divorcing a Pregnant Wife: Iddat Duration Clarified

Q: I wish to know if I divorce my wife by one talaaq while she is pregnant and gives birth after one month or has a miss carriage after one month does the iddat end there or is it a minimum of three months from the day of divorce?

Bismillaah

A: The iddat of a pregnant woman terminates upon the delivery of the child.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
