Answer:
The Shari’ah disapproves of any frivolous activities such as playing computer games, etc. The harms of playing computer games are many and detrimental to ones Deen, physical and mental health. The time lost in playing computer games could rather be utilised in attaining Islamic knowledge or physical exercise. People become addicted to computer games very easily and find it extremely difficult to leave it. If money is spent it or it causes a person to become unmindful towards ones Salaah and Shar’i duties, then it will be Haraam and one will be sinful. (Aapke Masaail aur Unkaa Hal, Vol. 7, Page 336)
